In addition to FOBC (BigCanoe.org), and BCMatters.org, there is now a 3rd Big Canoe Watchdog website – BCResidents.com – which has exploded onto the scene in the past week.
The site appears to be an extension of the new BC Facebook Group – https://www.facebook.com/groups/BigCanoePropertyOwners. There is some good uncensored, and polite, discussion going on there, and property owners are encouraged to join in the conversations. I will say that it is unfortunate that several of the “usual suspect insiders” are doing there best to poison the atmosphere – but hopefully calmer and wiser voices will prevail over time – and the quality voices won’t give in, or give up.
BCResidents.com also appears to have launched an eblast list, and Big Canoe residents can sign up by entering their email at the website.
Unconnected, independent Watchdog groups seem to be expanding in Big Canoe – and at some point smart people start asking, “WHY?” Because when people are happy, and leadership is fiscally responsible, and actions are transparent… you don’t usually find this level of “Watchdog” activity.
PS: FOBC has seen the online usual suspect rumour spreaders saying that this new group – BCResidents.com , is FOBC in disguise. Well, here’s the official response to that:
